More clean-up

Two committee's of the CIP group have continued to meet weekly to assist local residents with clean-up of various properties in Springview.  These committees generally meet for dinner and strategies before moving to the various locations around town.  Among the tasks undertaken have been the trimming or removal of trees and limbs, moving dirt into some of the holes left by the removal of buildings, and providing a place to remove unwanted items.  The committees continue to grow weekly as more people come to help with the various projects.

The accompanying pictures are the removal of some trees and the corresponding clean-up of the debris.  There were several chain saws to cut the trees into pieces that were manageable.
A tractor with loader was used to remove the debris to trucks.
The trucks hauled the brush, limbs and logs to a disposal area.
The crews worked until nearly dark raking, cleaning and loading trucks.

These pages will be updated periodically as more tasks are completed.  There is always room for more community members to help with the various tasks.  More residents are asking for assistance.  The committees will continue to aid with these chores where ever possible.
