Cub Creek
Cub Creek is a great place to: camp, fish, boat, or just plum relax
This is
a picture of Cub from Highway 12 which
is on
it's South side
This picture of Cub is from Highway
12, which is a little more
west than the other picture.
The peninsula that is shown in this
picture is
where the boats dock and undock.
In Cub Creek there are many different species of fish some of the larger being the Walleye and Muskie. Some of the smaller species of fish are bluegill, largemouth bass, and yellow perch. This reservoir is also known for huge Catfish that inhabit it.Species:
In the winter time it is very seldom that you do not see ice fishermen out fishing this reservoir, and I have heard that it is a great spot to catch your limit.
This chart shows
what the reservoir has been stalked with since
April 20,1985, it also shows how
many were added and the average size of the fish when they were released
in Cub.

This table consists of what the reservoir is stalked with, but I think that it it is suppose to have more than just what is mentioned above.
The reason that it is called CUB Creek is because from the air it is said to look like a giant bear cub. It is located in Keya Paha County. 8 1/2 W of Springview. The water covers twenty seven acres of land and only electric fishing motors are allowed.
This reservoir is a good place to go fishing and is also a good place to get away from work, it has just recently had shelters built near the water fronts that have bar-b-que grills right near to cook your catch.
