A $10,000 3-year grant was received May 31, 2000, from the RASKOB Foundation to be exclusively used by the House of Renewal to sponsor spiritual renewal activities for youth. We thank the RASKOB Foundation for their support of our Deanery Youth Activities. We serve not only the Lynch and Spencer youth, but help in the formation of Christian ideals in the youth of our entire region.

The financial needs of the House of Renewal are not met fully by this grant. Other contributions and volunteer help are needed for the continued operation of our retreat center. The building facility is old. As with all older buildings, there seems to be a constant need for tender loving care. Contributions will be used for renovation in areas of the building in need of repair as well as for other costs of operating the facility.

We express our thanks to all in Spencer and Lynch who have volunteered many hours helping with laundry, cleaning, cooking and maintaining the House of Renewal. Many have been blessed by their contribution.
