This grotto has been with us for 60 years. Throughout the years, many have come to find this place a real sanctuary.

Nestled between the House of Renewal and Assumption Church, it is a real place of peace and prayer.

Over the years, many people have contributed to the health of this grotto, the building and the grounds, repairing and rebuilding parts of it for everyone to enjoy.

Just in case you didn't have a clue where we are at: yes, we are in rural north-central Nebraska. We are located on Highway # 12 and nestled between the Missouri and Niobrara Rivers. Ponca Creek flows on the south edge of the property. Great for bird watching and other wildlife, including deer and turkey. This picture is taken from the front lawn of the center of the road by the Niobrara House.
